Winter Dressage League 2017/18
The first competition of the season commenced in glorious sunshine on Sunday 24th September. Lydia Murphy won the junior Intro calls on her mare Phoebe and they scored a pleasing 63.9%. Charlotte Webb won the seniors class with 68.9% on Dellaney. Lydia and Phoebe also won Intro B scoring 65.8% so a very successful day for this pair. At prelim, Alyson Parker won the class on her lovely Bilbo, scoring 67.5% and they were closely followed by Alison Smith and Cranagh Blue Granite scoring 66.5% and second place. In third place was Georgina Harrington on her mare Stormy Mistress.
At novice Sue Harrington rode Stormy Mistress and they won a hotly contested class with 69.8%. It was lovely to see Colleen Taylor back in action with her gelding Frosty and they scored 68.8% and second place in the class. Julie Bratley on Simions Tanner came third, with 68.2% and Teresa Langley on Toyboy came in 4th with a score of 63.2% Teresa and Toyboy won the Music Freestyle with a great performance scoring 69.2% and Colleen Taylor and Frosty were closely behind with a score of 68.8%
At Elementary summer champions Annette Scott and Dutch Clogs Vicario continued their winning form and won this class with 69.3%. Charlotte Pegram won the class at junior level on Carentino Z scoring 66.6%
