Winter Championship Show

It was a beautiful sunny spring day for the EEFDG Winter Championship Show held at Woodlands on 6th May. It was great to see so many new members riding for their first cChamionship show and we are grateful to all our sponsors who loyally support the riding club and who help to make this show so special for our riders and their families.
New junior member, Luke Alder on his pony Zoes’ Chance won the Junior Intro and Prelim classes for My Quest with fantastic scores of 75% and 80% respectively. Luke and Zoes’ Chance also won Class 2 Intro C with a score of 70.6%, This prize was kindly donated by Cathy’s Rideout Massage. Abi Jackson on Jazz came second with 67.8% and Lydia Murphy came 3rd on her pony Phoebe with 63.7%. Nicola Cox won the senior class at Intro riding Jacquie Fields’ Goose, with a score of 67..2%
Junior member Luke Alder was on top form winning the junior prelim class overall, scoring 69.3% and Lucy Turner won the senior class with 70%.
Class 4, Prelim 14 was kindly sponsored by SMR Photography and Sue is a regular supporter of our club events taking fantastic photographs for purchase from her website www.smrphotos.co.uk. Holly Nelmes Faint won Prelim 14 scoring 60% on Maestro and Sarah Oakley with her lovely mare FiFi won the senior class scoring 66% despite an error.
There were 4 competitors for Novice24 and Alyson Parker won the class on Bilbo, scoring 68.5%. Carly Dimes on Tregold came second with 65% and this partnership also won My Quest with a score of 69.6%
The music freestyle class was sponsored by our local and very loyal vet practice Blair Court Equine and Hannah Luesley on Caramac won this class, scoring 71.5%. This lovely partnership also won Elementary 53 with a handsome score of 68.3%. This class was kindly sponsored by Abbey Tackshop.
The Advanced Medium class was kindly sponsored by Cathy Rideout Massage and this was won by Wanda bendisch on Contessa’s mare Queijada
